Gift Certificates
- NHG will consider the intake of your item upon presentation of your receipt for that item or a valid government ID
Consignment:
- NHG reserves the right to accept or decline any potential consignment item
- Consignment items need to be in generally saleable condition. NHG will discuss any potential repair/setup costs prior to accepting an item
- NHG will offer appointment times to inspect any item (this is not a drop off service)
- Consignment fees are 25% of the final sale price of your item minus any repair/setup costs that NHG may incur to make your item saleable
- Consignment proceeds will be paid within 3 business days via NHG company check, Venmo or Paypal
- Consignment owners provide us with a form W-9 as we are required to issue a form 1099-MISC by January 31 of year following cumulative sale disbursements of $600+
Returns
- Return period for consignment items: 3 calendar days
- Return period for NHG-owned items: 14 calendar days
- Items can be accepted for return only if they are in the same condition as you received. *** Modified items are not returnable ***
Repairs
- Customer repairs must be picked up and paid for within 30 calendar days
- Failure to do so may result in the sale of your item without recourse
- Let us know if you have a deadline for your item (ex: for a gig). We can not do real-time drop-in repair or setup work.
Lesson Cancellations
- Lessons cancelled by the customer with less than 24 hours notice is a missed lesson and can not be reschedule or refunded
- Layaway of certain items may be approved at NHG discretion
- If approved, layaway terms are:
- 25% non-refundable deposit
- Item can be held up to 30 calendar days
- After 30 calendar days without full payment, any monies received will be forfeited and item put back up for sale
Rentals
- Certain items can be rented at NHG discretion at 15% of sale price per week
- Rentals require a copy of your government-issued photo ID and contact information

Call us to discuss your potential consignment item(s), and if it is something we would like to sell here, we can make an appointment to check it out.
We are looking for items in good shape or perhaps need only minor repair/setup. We will discuss any potential repair cost before accepting an item.
NHG will do the marketing and merchandising of your item. If you prefer to additionally market/sell your item on your own, our services would not be a good fit. Feel free to call to discuss!

NH Guitars is a locally-owned and operated, independent guitar shop in Windham, NH offering high quality pre-owned guitars, basses and amps, along with expert repairs and lessons for players of all ages and skill levels.
Our guitars are setup in house and ready to play today!
Our tech staff is one of the best around, and can make your guitar or bass play amazingly! We also have an amazing group of guitar and bass instructors for all skill levels and styles.

NHG students of all ages and abilities love our guitar, bass, ukulele and vocal/songwriting lessons! We focus on teaching songs you want to play, with an appropriate amount of theory. If you do want a deep-dive on theory, scales, modes and sight-reading we can help you as well!
New lessons are scheduled and pre-paid in 4 lesson increments of any frequency - weekly is typical, but can be more or less frequent. With a staff of 8 instructors, we will match you up with the most appropriate instructor based on your skill level, musical style and schedule.
The cost of a 4 x 1 hour lesson package is $250 (or 4 x 30 minute lessons for $140), and can be renewed at your convenience. Lessons must be paid up front to be scheduled.
If you need to reschedule a lesson we can do so assuming 24 hours notice is given. Same-day cancellations cannot be rescheduled.

- Hours: We are open 7 days/week, even some holidays. Please check the Directions page for hours and the top of this page for any special/holiday hours
- Here are some guidelines for our Consignment services:
- This is not a drop-in service. Please call/text/email us with details on any item that you are considering having us sell for you here
- If interested, we will make an appointment with you to inspect your items for saleability
- As we invest staff time upfront in the marketing of your item, if you would rather sell it yourself, please do so.
- If we accept your item and it needs repair, we will give you a repair cost quote prior to marketing your item

Once you've got your axe, NHG's Technical Services staff can make it play like buttah! We are experts in setting up all types of electric and acoustic guitars including floating bridges and 12 strings, as well as basses and ukuleles.
